By show of hands, who prefers the

Silver Derby over BINGO?

Ever notice how often BINGO is played in senior living communities? Or the numbers in attendance? Unanimous among Activity Directors, it's because ONE lucky winner gets to win something and everyone has a chance at a win. The reason for multiple times a week is because there was no other option that offered a thrill of the win outside of a Casino Night which started at $350 and considered a chunk of change for one activity. Introducing Silver Derby Horse Races, LLC and the total opposite of BINGO in relation to noise level, number of winners, the amount of the purse, the level of intense excitement or the trap, where all horses eventually get stuck, hoping for luck to get them out! The only commonality is that we both offer a thrill of the win outcome. Only ours isn't 500 plus years old! Isn't your community ready for something fresh? New?  What about never seen before? Even better! Come join the 200 plus shows monthly and on a National level and see why we've become known all these years as "the RIVAL" to BINGO. Who knew?

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

The Silver Derby’s sole intention upon inception twenty four years ago was never to become known as a Maverick in entertainment for seniors. It was simply to create an alternative to BINGO and something fresh to senior communities well known to be stagnant of fresh "live" entertainment. An opportunity to socialize without realizing it became the icing on the cake as we saw more joined by "friends" met from a prior race. By using a horse race theme most could relate to, it was what was added soon after creation that took it to a whole new level. It was too easy, soooo I added a trap, referred to as the water trough. Which players hate. And we behind the track love! It's when the real fun begins and not only did it become our signature, but that little added trap changed our trajectory as well, adding fundraising and private parties to our clientele base.
